A spectacular, private setting, sweeping views and ultra-luxury accommodation all combine to make Villa Joya, Carriacou a unique holiday experience.

With architecture inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, this beautiful house sits on a promontory on the Atlantic side of the unspoiled and friendly island of Carriacou, an easy 20 minute plane ride from Grenada.

The villa offers luxurious interiors, stunning outdoor spaces and gardens for the discerning renter.

Beautifully appointed, the villa has four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and can sleep up to 10 people. The high-ceilinged sitting room sets the tone of space, light and modern luxury found throughout the villa. The sea views from the house and gardens are stunning and include the islands of Petit Martinique and Petit St. Vincent.

Relaxing by the pool with an evening cocktail and watching these islands light up as dusk falls, is one of the many visual treats of Villa Joya.

There are indoor and outdoor dining and entertaining areas by the pool, in the courtyard and in the sitting room. There is a DVD library, a surround sound system and internet access throughout the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large oven, microwave, two refrigerators, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee maker.

The villa is virtually mosquito-free thanks to the cooling breezes of the Atlantic ocean. The nearest beach can be reached by walking around the rocks or by a short car drive.

I was lucky enough to stay for a week in the stunningly beautiful Villa Joya recently and loved every moment of my vacation! The Villa is beautifully decorated… Clean, simple and extremely comfortable. Its open plan design and position gives great views over to Petit Martinique whilst enjoying the constant cool breeze from the ocean!
I was welcomed by Barbara, the Housekeeper who made me extremely welcome throughout my stay and kept the villa impeccably.
I cannot recommend Villa Joya more highly

We visited as a family group of two adults, three grown up children, aged 25, 23 and 21, and my 85 year-old mother.
After landing in Grenada, we were whisked onto our small charter plane for a 20-minute flight to Carriacou. At the charming local airport we were greeted with drinks and cold towels and a spectacular drive across the island to Villa Joya. The first impression of the villa as you crest the hill at the top of the drive is breathtaking. We were shown into the spectacular high ceilinged living room and immediately knew we had made the right choice.
